This Privacy Policy explains how Producer Portal ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and (if applicable) your Google account name and ID. We store a hashed version of your password — we never store your password in plain text.
Usage data: We log your upload history (video title, YouTube video ID, upload date, privacy setting) for billing and account purposes.
YouTube data: If you connect your YouTube channel, we access and store certain data from your Google account via YouTube API Services, as described in Section 5 below.
Billing data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all payment data.
Content you submit: Audio files, images, and video clips you upload are stored temporarily to process your upload and are not shared with third parties.
Producer Portal stores, accesses, and recognizes information on your device using cookies and similar browser storage technologies:
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics scripts on our pages. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings; note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.
We use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
Producer Portal uses YouTube API Services to provide its core functionality. By connecting your YouTube channel to Producer Portal, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Producer Portal's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Google user data we access and store:
How we use it: solely to provide the Service to you — uploading your videos, setting thumbnails, editing metadata you ask us to change, matching your channel's style, and showing you your own analytics. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with any third party except as required to provide the Service (see Section 4). Human access to this data is limited to what is necessary for security, support you request, or compliance with law.
Revoking access: you can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time using the "Disconnect YouTube" button in your Producer Portal settings. Disconnecting revokes Producer Portal's authorization with Google and deletes your stored tokens and channel samples. You can also revoke Producer Portal's access directly from your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google security settings). To request deletion of all your stored data, delete your account in settings or contact support@producerportal.io.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records). To prevent abuse of free-trial limits, we retain a record of the email address and Google account ID used to claim a free trial even after account deletion; this record is used solely for fraud prevention.
Uploaded audio, video, and image files are stored temporarily during processing. We do not guarantee long-term storage of these files — they may be deleted periodically.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@producerportal.io. You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from within the app.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at support@producerportal.io.
